Angels Of Punishment

The Angels of Punishment are mythical characters outlined in Gustav Davidson's 1994 book A Dictionary of Angels, Including the Fallen Angels. They are based on the writings from the Biblical apocrypha.

Per Davidson's work, the angels are as follows:

The Archangels of Punishment

Hemah governs the death of domestic animals and lives in the seventh heaven.
He is described as being 500 parsangs tall and made of chains of black and red fire.
(One parsang is equal to approximately 3.88 miles)
Hemah is on of the 3 angels of Gehennal along with Af and Mashit. Hemah punishes
those who sin by idolatry, incest and murder. In the Old Testament, Hemah swallows
Moses with the help of Af. God forces Hemah to spit Moses out, then Moses kills Hemah.
